V-method moulding is also names as vacuum-sealed casting moulding. It is a physical moulding method moulding method that uses plastic film to seal the sand box and relies on the vacuum pump to extract the air inside the mold, resulting in a pressure difference between the inside and outside of the casting mold, and compacting the dry sand to form the required cavity. Therefore, the vacuum seal molding is also known as "negative pressure molding method" .
Different types of V method molding production line can be designed according to customers’ actual production requirements: trolley type V method molding line, pass-through type V method molding line, shuttle type V method molding line, motorized roller type V method molding line, rotary table V method molding line, etc.
The whole casting production line is divided into two parts: sand processing unit and molding unit.
The main equipment of the sand reclamation unit includes: sand shakeout dust hood, sand shakeout grid and transition sand hopper, moulding box return roller , vibrating conveyor sand screen machine, suspended magnetic separator, plate chain elevator, sand storage, boiling cooling equipment, bucket elevator, belt conveyor, sand discharging device, dust collecting system, electric control system, etc.

1.Castings have high dimensional accuracy, clear contours and smooth surface.
2.High metal utilization. Improve metal utilization, steel castings can be increased by 20%, iron castings can be increased by 25%.
3.Simple equipment and low investment. In addition to the addition of a vacuum pump and the use of a special sand box, the other equipment of the V method moulding is relatively simple. The sand mixer and some auxiliary equipment can be omitted, the investment cost is low, and the equipment maintenance is convenient.
4.Save raw materials and power. Because the V method uses dry sand, it is easy to shake off the sand, and the sand recovery rate can reach more than 95%. The use of V method moulding consumes less power, only 60% of the green sand method, and can reduce labor by 35%.
5.Long service life of the pattern and the sand box.Because the pattern is protected by plastic film, the drafting force is very small, there is only slight vibration and it is not affected by high temperature and high pressure, so the pattern is not easy to deform and damage.
